 Our entire team takes great pride in their craft and strive to provide nothing but the highest quality work to our valued clients.  Each member of our staff is highly trained, and they continue to expand their skills and knowledge by attending at least 2 of the annual Chicago Midwest, New York International, Orlando and Las Vegas hair shows.  Members of the crew have also gone on to receive specialized training in hair coloring, permanent cosmetics,  microdermabrasion, microcurrent and Hairdreams and Great Length hair extensions.  

Salon owner, Julie, started her schooling at Altoona Beauty School.  From there she furthered her education in Matrix, Goldwell, Wella, Redken 5Th Avenue Academy.  She spent time learning from the best- Nick Arrojo, Diane Jeepreese, and Martin Parson. She is also licensed to teach cosmetology.  She imparts her passion for her trade to her entire staff and keeps the shop on the bleeding edge of what's new in the industry.  This ensures that Tame Your Mane clients have access to the newest looks and techniques, and can expect the highest level of quality and professionalism.
