Education/Experience: I attended Bloomsburg & Bucknell University for National Cosmetology Association continuing education from 1987-1995. Studies included hands on workshops in hair cutting, coloring, perming, business success, and biology of the hair. I have been to hair shows across the United States such as Las Vegas, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York. I love the Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York hair shows because of all the things you can do for fun when you are not learning something. There is always room to learn new and exciting things when it comes to hair design. I have a total of 31 years of experience. Four years were spent at Doll House Designers, Bedford; twenty years I owned my own salon, Simply Beautiful Hairstyling, Claysburg; and I have been at Tame Your Mane for seven years.

I love to perm, color, cut, and design hair. I love making everyone look their best! Doing the best job that I can with everyone and creating excitement is the most gratifying part of my job!

Outside of work I like spending time with my husband of 16 years and my 2 beautiful children, Emily and Eric. We have two Golden Retrievers, Molly and Mason. My favorite band is Def Leppard, I love big hair bands! I enjoy traveling. I have been to several places just for fun, such as Grand Bahamas, Las Vegas, Ireland, All of the local Amusement parks, Disney World, Universal Studios, Alaska, and Canada.

My passion in life is to be the best that I can be!
